The Olympic Sailing Committee had their eyes open at this event. Fred Hagedorn was a constant both out on the water and on shore, providing the competitors with tips and advice for improving their sailing.
Serge Jorgensen and Betsy Alison provided debriefing following every Race. They also held a race seminar sponsored by Rolex, on Friday.
