Hoyt-Jolley Multihull Fund
In late 1996, Bill Jolley,
an F-31 sailor from Niceville, Florida, expressed a desire to support multihull sailing
through US SAILING. After a few discussions regarding the established programs that need
funding, he decided to help the Youth Worlds and the Multihull Championship (Alter Cup).
Through the Hoyt-Jolley Foundation, he donated funding to the Youth Worlds and the 1997
Multihull Championship. The Foundation also provided the sum of $32,000 to establish the
Hoyt-Jolley Multihull Fund, a restricted fund to provide perpetual funding to the
Multihull Championship. |
