Full Report - Day 2

Weather Conditions

With torrential downpours predicted along with more strong North Easterly breezes, Mother Nature changed her mind on the wind with 8-10mph in the morning; 5-8mph in the afternoon. (NE)  The rain was manageable with many thanks from the volunteers afloat this Friday.

Today the fleet tightened up but pure consistency from Doug Kaukeinen with a 3,4,2,3,4,2,2,(8) led the way.   Both Mike Ingham and Bill Lynn won 2 races and trail Kaukeinen by 4 and 8 respectively after a solid day of sailing and drop after 8 races.  Dick Tillman who also won a race trails by ten after beating the leaders in race 8 in the fog and shifty light air.

Tomorrow is calling for light sea breezes but the only thing to bet on is this one is far from over.
