US SAILING

US SAILING Team Racing

The primary purpose of this committee is to foster the promotion, growth and development of team racing in the United States, in both keelboats and dinghies. The Team Racing Committee works to build strong grass roots team racing programs throughout the United States, address issues that involve team racing, broaden team racing (geographically and demographically), including, in part, through the implementation of consistent racing standards and management and support of regattas, and assist with feeder events for U.S. Team Racing Championship for the George R. Hinman Trophy. The Team Racing Committee works closely with the U.S. Team Racing Championship Committee, the ISAF Team Racing sub-committee, US SAILING’s Racing Rules committee and the Judges sub-committee on umpiring.
