Term of Reference for General Services Committee

CONSTITUTION

The General Services Committee shall incorporate one representative from each Council and from the Budget Committee. Other interested members may be appointed by the Committee chairman with Board approval. The Executive and Membership Directors shall serve as administrative advisors to the Committee.

FUNCTIONS, in order of priority

• To maintain a long-range view of the Association, its development and its services to the sport.

• To plan and develop programs to serve the needs of the Association's membership.

• To oversee all US SAILING membership programs and services.

• To oversee all insurance programs of the Association.

• To oversee and coordinate the Association's relationship with commercial sponsors.

• To oversee the Association's public image and public relations.
