Match Racing Committee
The primary purpose of this committee is to foster the promotion, growth and development of match racing in the United States, in both keelboats and dinghies. The Match Racing Committee works to build strong grass roots match racing programs throughout the United States, address issues that involve match racing, broaden match racing (geographically and demographically), including, in part, through the implementation of consistent racing standards and management and support of regattas, and assist with feeder events for U.S. Match Racing Championship for the George R. Hinman Trophy. The Match Racing Committee works closely with the U.S. Team Racing Championship Committee, the ISAF Team Racing sub-committee, US SAILING's Racing Rules committee and the Judges sub-committee on umpiring.
