proved to be too fast for the other Alter Cup competitors. Wayne Mooneyham and Steve
Lawlor took 2nd and Kent Bliven and Gene Harris took 3rd, both in Hobie 20s. See all

long wait on Saturday for wind, it finally arrived and brought with it some exciting 2-4
foot chop. Three quick races on Saturday ended up being the only racing for the
weekend as the wind on Sunday (25-30+ mph) proved to be a bit much. Special
recognition is deserved for the RC and chase boat operators that braved some pretty tough
conditions while fighting failing equipment:
