U.S. Junior Women's Championship Committee

What we do:

The Junior Women's Championship Committee is responsible for raising the level of awareness and interest of young women sailors in sailboat racing in the United States through implementing consistent racing standards and management support of regattas as well as running the U.S. Junior Women's Singlehanded Championship for the Nancy Leiter Clagett Memorial Trophy and the U.S. Junior Women's Doublehanded Championship for the Ida Lewis Trophy.  The Committee runs the Junior Women's Championships as the best junior women's championship regattas in the nation for competitors and spectators.

Who we are:

The U.S. Junior Women's Championship Committee consists of a Chair and other members who represent the interests of junior women sailors geographically and demographically. The past Chair may serve as an ex officio member of the Committee.
