Candidate's Statement:
"US SAILING has a talented and dedicated group of employees under the leadership of our Executive Director, Charlie Leighton. We need to both sustain and grow our membership. We offer the finest training programs, from the How to Sail to Safety-at-Sea programs. It may be possible to add to the curriculum with additional programs that could develop the interest of new members. As we gravitate toward more team racing we need to develop the umpires to properly officiate those events, and complete the task of overhauling our website with improvements to make it both current and user-friendly."
