St. Petersburg Yacht Club Trophy
Emblematic of excellence in race management, the St. Petersburg Yacht Club Trophy was awarded originally by St. Petersburg Yacht Club in the late 1960s to recognize the club which ran the best regatta. The trophy was retired for several years, then was donated to US SAILING in 1977. The winner is selected on the basis of race management superiority and evaluation by participating skippers.

National Sportsmanship Award (W. Van Alan Clark, Jr. Trophy)
The US SAILING Sportsmanship Program is primarily a local initiative.  Members of clubs, classes and other sailing groups - are where the sailing action is, and where the sportsmanship is, and needs to be.  We hope you will make it a priority, and develop your own criteria as to what constitutes outstanding sportsmanship.  The next step is for you to recognize the persons who fit those guidelines.  You will be honoring one of your best, while keeping sportsmanship on the front burner.  It's a real win-win.  We can never have too many sportsmen or sportswomen.

Nathanael G. Herreshoff Trophy
This is US SAILING's most prestigious award. It was donated in 1957 by the National Marine Manufacturers Association, and is awarded annually to the individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the sport of sailing in this country in an associated activity. The recipient is selected by the Board of Directors from nominations made by members of the Board, Committee Chairs, Past Presidents and Counselors of Honor.
